Post 1995 Bmw 318IS - NEED advice!

Sup guys, so recently I've been wanting a 5-speed.  At the moment I drive a 2001 honda civic, no problems or issues, but you know.  I want a more sporty car and lately I've grown hella fond of the 3 series and BMW's in general.

I found a local series 3 for $4200.00, and I could easily get that amount for my honda and get the Bmw, I'm just concerned about the year difference and miles.  My honda is a 2001 model with 117k and runs great!  This BMW has 150k and is a 95..  I don't know too much about cars so I want your input.  My dad offered to come up with me and check the BMW out (he's worked on porches and was a mechanic) so yeah.

150K is not a lot for a BM...mine's a 93 with 177K and still running sweet
