Hi, I've just bought an '02 320d and I noticed that I had a pool of oil in my drive this morning, there is a large pool in one area (just behind the front right wheel and about a foot under the car, where the exhaust pipe becomes visible under the car) and several 2 or 3 dots of oil in other areas. Im under the impression that the oil is leaking onto the tray in this area and then dripping down at the lowest point in the tray (is the oil sump in this area and maybe this was not sealed properly???). I also have steam coming from under the bonnet after journeys of 20 mins or so, specifically from under the small area between the power steering assembly and the engine itself. I am of the impression that oil was spilled into this area and it is now "burning off" altho I can be sure and am worried that there may be a bigger underlying problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you

hard to tell at this time.... try to clean the traces first and see where it goes from there.
