Garage Cabinets, Garage Storage, and Garage Organization

I have a 2002 325Xi.  It has the one touch window option.  My front seat passenger window goes all the way down, but it

does not go up all the way. I have to pull it up, I am very confident it is not the electrical system. The window is off the

track because I can slightly move it with my hand. How do I fix this??????????????????????

Your help is greatly appreciated?

the internal mechanism must have been broken. you need the right tools and a little experience on DIY to do this well. let me know if you're confident enough... i'll try to post the instructions here.

My gf is having a very similar issue with her 325i and driver side window. I'm pretty decent with cars and DIY...any chance I could get you to either post or e-mail those instructions you mentioned? I am going to take a look at the problem this evening and it sounds like your info could be of assistance.

sorry...year is 2001.

i took off the door panel and pulled back the sound-proofing, then had her raise and lower the window a few times. it is binding up on on of the tracks and looks like some plastic pieces have broken. she just went ahead and took it to a shop near her work today. thanks for the reply, though.
