Last night I stumbled upon this awesome article about a man with a passion for rally racing. Bill Caswell was willing to do anything to get into the sport and found a $500 used 1991 318 to run. Unfortunately there was some fierce competition, from some fierce drivers (Kimi Raikkonen included) however Caswell ended up taking 3rd place in his class! Just goes to prove what a good little car the 3 series can be, and how it will stand the test of time.

Thats pretty sick!  Im looking into buying myself a 3 series and this post made me think even more about it.  Those 318's are cool little bmws.  Little 4 cylinder, awesome efficiency, and also good performance!  Plus the bodystyle on them is sick, i love the old style front clip on them.
