Garage Cabinets, Garage Storage, and Garage Organization

I have a 1989 325IC. The cd player lost power, speedomter not working and unable to see the time. No not have a manuel and there is no fuse box chart. Fuses look good, wondering if there is a short in the cd player that may have caused this. Any ideas before I have to take it to the mechanic! Thanks

it's not a short. most probably it's an open voltage supply for the cd player or just a loose connection. try to pull the radio and check if 12Vdc is supplied.

regarding the speedometer, you need to open the cluster and check it's electronic devices or the ribbon wires if got loose. also, the internal mechanism of the cluster for the speedometer must have been broken or damaged.
