I'm thinking about ordering my 535i manual tonight and am having trouble deciding on options.  Previously, all my BMWs had the sport package but I'm thinking of skipping it on this one.  Any suggestions on must-haves? Tips to get the best out of the car?

My last 3 vehicles have been 540i, x5 (4.4) and 535i. All 3 have had sport. I think it depends on how much driving "fun" you intend to have with the car. It's worth the stiffness of suspension to me for the cornering. I think the wings on the sport seats give a secure feeling when cornering. And I think the sport looks better also.

If you're getting auto, the paddle shifters are fun...
