BMW 323I 1985 (E30) Electronic Central Locking problem, ASAP
Hey, I have a BMW 323I 1985 (E30), I simply woke up one day and bam, the central locking didn't work, I could force the drivers door open with the key, but the others didn't budge and I can't even pull the others up because it died after i locked the doors i guess. This wouldn't be such an urgent thing but I realised that my petrol cap has locked and I can't open it! Seeming I need to get to work tommorow and the yellow light is on, I need to know what I should start checking out, what the cause could be and some insight
I've tried grazing the ground cords so there was a good connection with the ground to engine and all that jazz (some ground to engine type cords still look old and dodgy), I also fixed a broken fuse but that only did the clock, all other fuses look fine, when I pull up and push down the driver door lock, I can here a click (almost like the electronics recognizes and tries to unlock/lock the other doors) but nothing happens.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated, I'm fair stuck. Cheers.
PS: A list of small tips and hints to help, which might be related to this problem
(3 out of 4 windows didn't work, once i woke up and all didn't work, then fiddled around and the last one started working)
(Most of the time my thermostat sticks at below cold, and just say it's a bumpy road or i'm reving (vibration), it flickers on to the correct temperature and then back to 0 like a loose cord)
(On board control has never worked)

Hehe, i'll be changing the transmission (seeming the auto trans box is wearing anyways) with a friend in a matter of time.
