I have been having problems with my brake rotors and drums warping. Has anyone else experienced these problems? I replaced both rotors and drum at about 40,000 miles because of warping and now at about 55,000 miles it seems as if something is warped again. Any help?

The brakes on the bmw do not dissperse heat too well... whenever you sit at a stop light or anything, the hot brake pads heat up 1 part of the disk..causes expansion..causes warping.
Best defense is to use the handbrake when sitting, thus not allowing uneven heat to be transfered to the disks.

Cannot Find Track...Help please

From my understanding the warped rotors don't really get warped but become imprinted with the brake pad material in one or more places causing the warped rotor syndrome.
This can happend from the following
*Long driving and then stopping
*Improper tighting of the wheel bolts
*Improper bedding of the rotors
*worn hubs and wheel bearings
