bmw ignition lock

Post bmw ignition lock 

hello new member aitchkart39 here , problem with my 1998 318. ignition key just goes round and round, it used to eventually catch and start but last time it started it would not connect to switch off. had to pull pump fuse to stop engine, and disconnect battery to switch off . possibly barrel knackered or what?

Just go to the dealer. He can help u wth this. Dont take a chance with your car.
