Post BMW/Lexus 

I hope that I do not get savaged here for asking this question. I used to drive a 7series but since moving to Canada, I am thinking of buying another 7 series. Now I also liked the LS400 Lexus.
I would appreciate a honest opinion on the 7 series and the LS400. I am looking at the used market, 1997 to 1999.

Lexus makes great cars.
LS400 is a luxurious driving machine available in its class.
I love its smooth ride and leather seats.
