I'm thinking of putting in my bmw an 7" touchscreen in order to operate a carputer, that will have multiple functions (GPS, Cellphone, MP3 player, Parking camera). the problem is that the center console of the car doesn´t have a spot for the touchscreen.
Anyone has suggestions how to modify the center console in order to install the touchscreen?

If u do not mind some heavy rewire work, u can buy the GPS screen that fits as part of the center speaker. u can wire just about anything into that (GPS, DVD, Game Console,...)

I think so you should go with TV free because it is easy to operate as well as it is faster and can be accessed directly.
