I replaced the rear brakes and sensor today on my '03 745i.  I wanted to know if there was a way to reset the service light for the brakes without having to going to a place with a computer to reset it.

If you're being passed on the right = YOU'RE IN THE WRONG LANE!!!

-Start the engine
- depress and hold in the trip meter reset button located on the left side of the speedo
- After about 3 second, the indicator light between the gauges will change, continue to hold it in
- After another 3 seconds of holding in the trip meter button, a menu will illuminate in the center of the speedo.
- release the trip meter button and push it in and release to move the cursor down through the items on the screen.
- once you get to the item that you want to reset, depress the trip meter reset button and hold it in.  After about 3 seconds another menu will illuninate in the center of the tach.  The cursor will move obver to the tach's menu.
- Depress and hold in the trip meter reset button to move the cursor to reset that service light.  The service light will be reset and the cursor will move back over to the menu on the speedo.
- Push in and hold to exit menu.

Nobody responded - I figured it out and thought that I would share.
