My '05 525 has difficulty starting about half the time. Instead of just starting right up, the starter sounds like it has to stay engaged for 4-5 seconds to get the engine to turn over, like it's not getting enough fuel or something. Afterwards, there is a strong gasoline odor from the exhaust. The other half of the time it fires right up, no problem. Any suggestions?
