I am changing the engine (to a none BMW engine) on my E30 but retaining the standard 5 speed manual gear box. I would like to know the exact dimensions of the gear box input shaft in relation to the 2 dowels on the bell housing. I need this to make the adaptor plate. The problem with doing any acurate measing is the the input shaft wabbles.
