Hi all. just wondering if anyone here can help me with this.

Im getting some engine judder sometimes when chnaging down to 2nd and 3rd gear. Say for instance im comming to a junction or turning and im slowing down, i change down to 2nd or 3rd and then when trying to accelerate away the car will judder then I either have to chnage down again or wait a bit and the car will pick up. Could this be a missfire i the engine or am I just going to slow for that gear.

I know it sounds like a strange one but ive only had the car a month and just getting used to it. Ive always had small cars before like peugeot 106 and mg zr. The car seems to igle ok but I have noticed that when the engine starts its not totally smooth like I was expecting. I was thinking of changing the spark plugs but the car has just had a service and only done 25k miles. Could the wrong plugs have been used?

Any help or direction is most appreciated.
