hi all,new member just joined today.my 2001 reg E39 528se has developed electrical problems, that is, no remote central locking,no heated rear screen and a heater motor with a mind of it's own as it continues to run erraticly after ignition is switched off and keys removed.checked the keys are transmitting and all fuses are good,is this likely to be a main agent fix and if so are we talking telephone number money.any one had similar problems.

correct me if i'm wrong but seems to have common points on those parts. probably the earth or control unit or CAN. this time you really need to have your car scanned for present fault codes. goodluck
