Post Electrical Problem

Hi all I bought a e36 318is 5/95 the thing is it I bought it at a auction (stolen and recovered) WITH NO KEYS but I shoved a screw driver in the ignition and tried turning the car on but the car wouldn’t turn on, but all electrical came on when I turned the ignition lights, blinkers etc… so we started to change the whole barrel ignition lock and EWS kit but the thing is after my friend connected everything all electrical stoped working its not the battery the battery is new, the interior light was on while my friend was wiring the ignition up & a bit by bit every electrically part in the car wasn’t working anymore?? nothing would work every electrical part in the car was just dieing the wipers where first to go then blinkers then head lights then the dash lights, no power the only electric thing that kinda worked was the interior light which flashed on and off somtimes but then dieds, an auto electrician is coming soon to check the problem, even if he does get all my electrical to work again what do I have to do to get my car to start do I have to reset my computer now cause I changed the ignition and EWS??

you have a serious trouble there my friend. better bring the car to a BMW service center to diagnose it properly. if we do it our forum way i think it will take us a lot of hours or maybe days just to diagnose it. it's a lot easier to solve the problem if we had the chance to get closer to it.
