I have a 2003 E46 Xit with 133K on the clock and I have a problem where the engines bucks under accelaration or load. It is a strange problem because it only happens periodically and it happens after driving at 75 or 80 for 30 minutes or more. Once it starts it stays until the car sits overnight. Sometimes it won't happen for a week. I can cruise around at 60 mph and it will never happen. I checked u-joints and didn't feel any play, cv boots not torn, the tires are all balanced, and the guibo is not worn. If I put in the clutch while it's happening and rev the engine, the engine appears to rev smoothly. There are no fault codes and the dealer couldn't sort it. They thought it might be a cracked coil, so I just ordered 6 from Barvarian Motorsport in New Hampshire and should get them later this week. Any ideas? Thanks
