I have a 2007 335i and the warranty will expire in 2 mo. I had planned on purchasing the extended warranty but was a little surprised that it'll only cover me for 2 yrs. (I know I won't put 50k on it in that time.) SO I'm thinking of pressing my luck and not spending the $3000 to purchase the warranty. Many have told me that bmws are usually great until about 80k miles and others have told me of a $2000 ac repair after 3 yrs. What is your advice? Have you been trouble-free for 6 yrs or 80k mi or has your extended warranty paid for itself more than once? I welcome any and all advice. Thanks a bunch, I'm new to BMW world.
