Hi,

I have been changing the glow plug relay on a 2001 525d with M57 engine for quite some time now. Usually once a year.
I don't really mind to pay some extra £50 at the beginning of every winter but i am wondering if is just my car or is an electrical defect with that part.

I use the car to go to work every day and usually do 100miles per day

Also, i am thinking about replacing the glow plugs as well. Which ones are the genuine type for the car? Any brand like Bosch offer superior performance to the genuine counterpart?
