Garage Cabinets, Garage Storage, and Garage Organization

Hi all

I have a 530d and have a few concerns,

The fans are blowing intermittently and there is a bubling noise coming from the cooling system, my first thought is that there is an air lock in the cooling sytem so I've warmed the car up and bled the system to try and resolve it, hopefully that will solve the bubling noise problem??

My thinking is that this may solve the intermittent fan problem aswell, as when the fans are switched off the bubling noise also stops? they seem to be linked to each other??

My concerns came when I noticed some steam escaping from the oil filler cap while the engine was warm and there is a bit of back pressure, there are no signs of white water/oil mixture when removing the cap and the radiator hoses dont feel like they have too much pressure in them.

I am wondering if there are any problems other that a leaking head gasket that could be causing this steam to coming from the filler cap??
