Post How to remove speedo cluster

Does anyone know if you have to drop the steering column to remove the speedo cluster it doesn’t look like it’s enough room to pull it out because of the steering wheel? My mileage number are only lit up half way and I have to remove the cluster to check to see if it’s the bulbs or a bad connection. Thanks Jerome

yes, you need to. just follow the instructions here. you need to have DIY experience before attempting to do this otherwise, you might damage some electronic components and the airbag system. goodluck. i'm just here to guide you.

Thank you so much for the information I'm going to try and unbolt the steering column and see if it drop down enough for me to remove the cluster because I really don't want to remove the steering wheel unless I have to. Once I remove the screws that hold the airbag in place will I need to just unplug the wires from it and then continue on with the information you give me on removing the steering wheel?

Thanks

Jerome
