Leaking Sunroof?

Post Leaking Sunroof?

Hello all - I am new to the forum.  I have a rather perplexing issue with my 2004 X5.  Whenever it rains, i get a collection of water dripping from the front passenger side door jam (interior) which makes the carpet quite wet.  In addition, sporadically I get a similar wet carpet on the rear seat (driver's side) carpet.  Would this be due to bad seals around the sunroof?  The car is out of warranty and I would rather have a good idea as to what is causing it prior to bringing it to a dealer and getting charged $300 for "diagnostic" troubleshooting prior to actually fixing the problem.  Please let me know if any of you have come across such a "wet" topic in the past and many thanks in advance for your guidance!
