 Little help here
hello everyone new member here and this is my story.
My wife bought a certified BMW 750I Feb of this year. We looked at it on at the beginning of the week and we decided to buy it. They said it wasnt fully certified yet because it needed new tires and there were a few dings they were going to remove. We were called on Fri to pick the car up and that it was in new condition. When we got there they told us while filling it with gas they noticed the gas gauge didnt work so we could take it home and when we hit 1/4 tank bring it back so they could replace the bad part. We said ok. We took it back and they said we had to resign our financial agreement because they made a mistake and it would mean a cheaper monthly payment to us anyway, we said ok. We dropped the car off for repairs and days later we picked it up.
Driving it home all kinds of electrical problems happened such as the airbag light flicking on and off, the A/C going on and off, Door open alert going on and off. We got home and the car alarm would go off and the doors would lock themselves and sound the alarm, headlights would not stop blinking. The car would idle rough and almost stall. We tool it back and dropped it off for another week. They said they fixed it but when we got home the same problem happed again so we took it back. This time they replaced all the door handles and reprogrammed the engine. We got home and problem was worse!
Now they had our new car for over 30 days and nothing was fixed so we took the car back again. That was last Monday, Last Friday they call and say they finally found all the problems. They fixed the alarm and they need to replace some shafts in the engine. The car was supposed to be done tomorrow and today they call us and say they have to replace the all the valves and lifters with the shafts and there is no eta on being finished! They are being extremely rude to us and don't seem to care that we are paying on a car we aren't driving. They will have our care over 40 days at the end of this week.
Any opinions on this if I try to pursue this in getting out of the car loan, I know there is no Lemon law in my state for used cars but this is ridiculous!
