Post New guys got a problem

Hey, new to the forum, not too experienced with Bimmers and I've got an issue with overheating.
Heres the deal, we recently got a 94 318 convertible project, its got 101kmiles, supposedly new head gasket??? but it overheats after only a couple of miles, heres what I've done so far, after each step I took it for a ride and it still acts the same;
Pull the thermostat, took out the radiator and had it proffesionally flushed, new water pump.
Still gets hot and theres no heat, no white smoke and the oil is clean.
I took the top hose off and started it, nothing is flowing but I can pour antifreeze in the top hose and it will backflow to the radiator even with the engine running.
I'm starting to pull my hair out and I think "I'm getting more grey and receding hairline because of this thing.
HEEELP!!! confused
