My 1993 BMW325i has blown head gasket, and found out that the cause is cylinder head crack. I asked the mechanic to repair it and changed the cylinder head. But I found out that the engine is still not right. There is short of cooler and from tail pipe came out of light steam and dripping water. But there is no milky white emulsion in the oil cap or dipstick (not yet?). I thought of maybe those are the residual of the previous blown head gasket.
Questions: Is this the sign of cylinder head crack again (I didn’t pressurized test it) or something else? Could it be the symptom of thermostat failure? I run the engine and turned on the heater full but only warm air not hot came out. I did several times flushing the water cooler and the result is the same boiling hot water in the overflow radiator bottle. I want to know if some one ever tried to fix BMW overheat with the sealer and permanently solve the problem. The reason I am asking this because I am tired of the mechanic took advantage from my lack of knowledge (and no more $$). I am very thankful of your advice.

Hi evey body,
I am a new comer in this community. I am trying to be a good watcher and listener.
I have an interest in repairing cars (including my 1991 BMW 318is and 1993 BMW 325i). Maybe because of that I am interested in promoting to other people.
