   Please Help! '97 528i Trany Noise Hey I really need some help on this one. I am considering buying a 1997 528i Automatic its has 102k on it. Problem is when you put the car in gear its making a squealing type noise. Put in in neutral and it lessens. Also apparently when driving at 40mph the Traction Control light started flashing and the car would not accelerate any further. When Traction Control is turned off the car drives ok. Does the squealing mean a bad transmission??? Need help! Also, any other problematic items I should watch out for with these cars?? |
