Well guys i bought my car recently!
Its a 528i touring E39 model from 98 with almost 230000kms and manual gearbox.

I've done almost 500 kms and i am feeling some vibration coming from the gearbox shift...when parked and also driving....i feel some little vibration....noticeable one...when looking at the gearshift

What means these symptoms? Is it normal or not ?

I think your rubber stabilizers on the back of the gearbox broken.
There are 2 on the end
In holland they cost about 10 euro a piece
When you look under your car youllle see them
Maybe you have to dismount the exhaust for better acsess

it could be 3 things
1 it could be the rubber donut that connect the gearbox to propsharf
2 the centre bearing
3 beam axle bushes if it feels like it steering from the rear then it's these
you need to have a look under your car to see which one it is good luck

are any of those things you mentioned very expensive ?

the rubber donut and the centre baring are about £30 each from german and swedish and the beam axle bushes are about £10 from the same place
