son bought a 525

Post son bought a 525 

my youngest son ( 16 ) just  his first car and guess what it is,, a 1995 525i  its the first bmw in the family .. we just got done cleaning it ,, and it need a little work ,, but i think it will be a great first car ,,
  
 were can i get a manual on this car so i can learn about it  ,,    




1st   thing we cant get into the glove department
2nd  the light is out on the shifter column
3rd  and the trunk has some light  ,that i think dont work ,, the reverse lights works  thats it
there is a A,,and M beside the shifter what is that ,,,

i hope you guys be patience  with me as i am learning

lilrobo, I was cruising through this forum and happened across your post.  The manual that you'd want to get is Bentley Publishing's Manual for E34's.  You can find it most anywhere, but I would suggest looking at autohausaz dot com.  They sell it there and they have some of the best prices on parts plus quick shipping.  You can probably find out all of what you need to know about your listed problems in the Bentley.

Why don't you PM me, just so I know that you've read this and I'll try and give you some pointers.  The E34 is a great car, but as they age there are several things to look for to keep it running well.  I've got two of them a 93 and 95 525i.  Done quite a few repairs on both, but have enjoyed working on them.  Good Luck and I'll be looking for your PM.
