New member here that will contribute as much as I can.    I have a 94 540i that keeps giving me a false "suspension leveling" message.  I have successfully traced all the previous "false" messages that I have read, but this one is stumping me.   Thanks in advance for any pointers.

My 94 540i automatic keeps giving me a "suspension leveling-see owners manual" message.  I checked the owners manual and it told me I had too much weight in the trunk.  Funny thing is, my trunck is empty, so I'm pretty sure it's a false message.  

What would cause this?  I pretty sure I don't have a self leveling system on this ride.  Is there a ride height swicth/sensor above the rear-end that can go bad and if yes, how do I fix/disable it?
