Post What's wrong with this?

Hi!
I'm presently working on a 7series E38 735iL M62TU (double Vanos) engine. I have a fault code that reads:
34- Function, inlet vanos, bank 2
The car runs smooth and fast but after a while the CHECK ENGINE MIL lights up. this doesn't change or affect the car's performance though.
The customer's complaint on this car was poor engine power. i've already solved it by adjusting the camshaft timing, replacing both camshaft sensors and a Vanos solenoid.
I can say that the car's condition is better now if not with the MIL which is so annoying.
Is there anyone who expirienced the same trouble before? I need your reply guys. confused
