Garage Cabinets, Garage Storage, and Garage Organization

I have a 94 318, just bought it today, and I noticed after I got it home, that the driver side wiper blade is starting to scratch the windshield. I replaced the blade, completely, not the refill, and the blade wipes fine traveling up the windshield, (bottom to top), but really grinds and jumps traveling down, (top to bottom). It appears that the wiper arm is pitched down, which allows the blade to "wipe" on the way up, but the angle on the way down it too steep, so the blade jumps and grinds. Any advice????, any chance the arms are on the wrong posts, (drivers side is on paasenger side and vice versa)?, or could the wiper arm just be bent? Thanks in advance.
