Post Z4 In Winter

I would like to run a Z4 Coupe through New Englan winters. Can anyone critique its ability to drive in heavy rain, or light to moderate snow? Is this car designed solely for fair weather driving?
Thank you for your time,
Ken

I would not, I have a Z3 4 cyl It gives me slipping problems in the rain in Delaware. You have all kinds of emission sensors in the exhaust system that you would not want to get hit or bent. I usually park mine in the garage in January thru Mid march. Its much safer... Breas2

Most people I talk to put winter tires on the car and do just fine. in fact i have heard that with the right tires you will get better performance out of the Z than a FWD car with A/S tires.

Personally i would not. But slap some Snow tires or Very good M&S tires on there and have fun. Wink

Post Winter driving

The very thought of driving a Z during winter months scares me!   eeek

Luckily I own a AWD SUV so I have never been forced to drive any soprts car I've owned during winter months.
