Z4 OVER SENSITIVE STEERING

Post Z4 OVER SENSITIVE STEERING

Afternoon folks
Could anyone please set my mind at rest. I bought a 2.0 2005 z4 august last year and it only now has 25000 miles on the clock. It seemed perfect to drive but in the last 3 months or so the steering seems extra sensitve as though its on a scating rink.
I had the steering checked out by garage along the road and he said there was no play on steering, but also mentioned it to BMW dealer as it went in for oil service.
Not sure they looked too hard but never mind. The guy at BMW said the z4 steering is like this but im sure its not my imagination and was not like this when I bought it.
Its as if there is far too much air in the tyres, if I go along a slightly uneven road and take my hands off steering wheel you can see the wheels pulling the steering wheel around. I dare not put my foot down...Is this the norm?
Car is just out of warranty so dont really want to pay local BM dealer anything if this is normal.

Just had my power steering fixed at a cost of $2500. The Z4 has what is called electronic power steering bet that is the problem, Mine was had to turn off of center.
